A narrative creation studio
From empty page
to living world.
Loreforge is a creation studio for narrative worldbuilding. Create worlds, write stories, forge visual artifacts, and publish — all from a single surface.
Not a CMS. Not a wiki. Not a project manager. A place where you sit down with nothing and stand up with a world.
The studios
Seven dedicated workspaces.
Each studio is purpose-built for a different creative medium. Together they form a complete pipeline from world concept to published work.
World Studio
Forge characters, locations, factions — build your world from zero.
Writing Studio
Write scenes, compose manuscripts, craft with 8 tonal voices.
Image Studio
Visualize your world — portraits, scenes, concept art.
Video Studio
Direct cinematic sequences — shots, reels, storyboards.
Comics Studio
Panel, compose, and publish graphic narratives.
Lore Studio
Craft world documents — dossiers, codices, story bibles.
Publish
Export your work — markdown, HTML, JSON, print-ready.
The creative journey
Five steps. One world.
Every Loreforge project follows the same arc — from a spark of an idea to a fully realized, exportable creation.
Name a world
Choose a genre, set the tone. Your world begins with a single name and a blank canvas.
Populate
Characters, locations, factions, artifacts — every entity is cross-referenced and alive.
Write
Scenes flow into manuscripts. Eight tonal voices. Sprint timers. Author notes inline.
Forge visual artifacts
Portraits, comic pages, shot sequences, concept art — each studio shapes a different medium.
Publish
Export as markdown, HTML, JSON, or ZIP. Present in reader mode. Share what you built.
Philosophy
Creation first. Everything else second.
You start with nothing and build upward. No templates to fill in. No mandatory fields. Name a character and they exist. Sketch a location and it appears on the map. Write a scene and it links itself to every entity mentioned.
The studios are not tabs in an app — they are workshops. The Writing Studio is where prose happens: scenes, manuscripts, tonal shifts, sprint timers. The Image Studio is where you compose visual briefs and build contact sheets. Each workspace earns its existence by doing one thing no other workspace can.
Every entity, every scene, every artifact is cross-referenced. Write a character into three scenes and the character knows. Move a location and the map updates. The world is a graph, not a filing cabinet.
Connected,
not isolated
No dashboard energy. No generic cards. Every interaction tries to feel authored — like a tool made by someone who actually writes.
Keyboard-first
Keep your hands on the keyboard.
Questions
Things people ask.
What kind of tool is this?
A narrative creation studio. You build worlds, write stories inside them, forge visual artifacts across multiple studios, and publish the result. It replaces the patchwork of wikis, writing apps, and image boards.
Where does the data live?
In your browser's localStorage. No backend, no accounts, no cloud sync. Your worlds persist across reloads but only on this device. Use Publish to export everything as markdown, HTML, JSON, or ZIP.
Do I need to be online?
Only to load the app initially. All creation, writing, and editing happens client-side. Your data never leaves your browser.
What are the eight tonal voices?
The Writing Studio includes a tone engine with eight presets that shift how prose suggestions feel: lyrical, clinical, noir, mythic, and more. Choose a voice that matches the scene you're writing.
Can I collaborate with others?
Not yet. Loreforge is single-author by design. Multi-user would change the creative model fundamentally; it may come later as an honest addition, not a bolted-on afterthought.
